Hein (Hendrik/Spekkies) and Ingrid on our retirement tour starting with a Road Trip across the southern states from Fresno, CA to The Villages, FL

We then set off to the dream trip of six months travelling the country of our birth, South Africa, including a three week trip with family and old friends (newly discovered) in Zimbabwe.

Hein is a retired civil/structural engineer, and on a quest to capture (photogragh) 1000 birds.

Ingrid is a retired hand therapist, and an excellent bird spotter.

P.S. The picture in the background is of a Wilson’s Warbler, taken in Kings Canyon National Park in 2016 and is one of his favorite captures.
